Philosophy and GoalsNorth Scott Child Care’s focus is on the development of the whole child. Our primary goal is to help young children use the environment productively and see themselves as individuals who are developing the skills and understandings that will enable them to make sense of the world and to succeed. Our program fosters creativity in both children and teachers. Children’s creativity is supported by providing a safe environment that encourages them to try new things and to risk making mistakes. Teacher’s creativity is supported by a program framework that encourages them to be innovative and responsive to the needs of the children. By focusing on both teachers &child, North Scott Child Care’s program provides an environment in which they can thrive. |
