Note from the Nurse
If a student is going to be absent from school, please call or email by 8:30 am with the reason for the absence. If the absence is due to an illness, please leave two symptoms.
When to Stay Home
- Fever greater than 100.4 degrees: You must be fever free for 24 hours without the use of acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil).
- Vomiting and/or diarrhea (watery stools): You must not have vomited or had diarrhea in the last 24 hours.
- Strep throat: You must be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
- Any disease that requires antibiotics: You must be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
- COVID-19: You must stay home on days 0-5 (zero being the first day of symptoms or the day tested positive if there are no symptoms). On days 6-10, you must wear a mask at school and eat snack & lunch away from others.
